In order to help get our annual Toys for Tots collection going, we will be hosting our annual Chili Cook-Off in the Smyrna tap room. This is a friendly competition, open to anyone who wants to offer their best recipe and to those who want to try said recipes!
The Alchemist encourages creativity! Props are welcome... add-ons are encouraged... fun will be had!
To enter, you will need to:
Register at the tap room before November 20 (spaces are limited).
Use our Signature mead in your recipe. We will provide a complimentary bottle of Solifaction when you register.
Confirm that you will be able to attend in person.
Commit to offering 3-5 quarts of chili.
Provide your own crock pot or similar to serve from.
Must provide a list of ingredients for allergy purposes.
To Judge:
You must bring an unwrapped new toy to the tap room.
Each judge will be given one token to vote for their favorite chili per toy brought. ***no limits, its for the kids!!
Judging will be held from 2:00 - 5:00 (subject to change) with winners announced in the tap room that evening.
Prizes will be given to the top 3 entries.
First Prize - One Year Horn Club Membership, an $1,800 value (if you are wildly diligent!)
Second and Third Prizes will be a bottle of award winning mead.
A "People's Choice" prize will be awarded, as well.
