There was a time that mead, alcohol brewed from honey, was the staple of European villagers. A brew that was delicious, lasted well and required only a few, natural ingredients. Yet, through the ages, we have lost our sense of awe and love for this wonderful drink.
The world grew bigger and gave way to industry. Fields of grain replaced fields of flowers. New concoctions emerged, and captured the fancy of a whimsical populace. Something perfect was almost lost to the ages and viewed as a relic.
We, at the Viking Alchemist, are working to recapture the awe and discovery that surrounded mead. And we have made improvements and enhancements…
