January Is Over!

The month of January went both Fast and Incredibly slow for us, here at the Alchemist. We’ve been working hard in Smyrna to get the new building ready for April. While we stay open at Fairgate, many fans have been asking to hear about our progress. Here’s what we can share:

• We’ve started up production in Smyrna with our Main 15bbl tank and we are working on getting the other tanks on service.

• The tasting room renovation continues with lights, paint and finishing work.

• The bigger, walk-in chiller is almost completed.

• Most of the infrastructure work will be started and finished in February

We think something of a particular interest will be Robin’s finds through local auctions. We’ve got real Tables and Chairs! They don’t fold up. Yes, they are actual restaurant quality seating and eating surfaces.  

We also got a pizza oven! A pretty nice electric one, with the stones and stuff. We may not be cooking pizzas but the ability exists. DiGiorno or Red Baron?
